It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of beloved B.A.R.K. therapy dog, Una. Una, and her handler Heidi, were B.A.R.K. volunteers and active UBC community members for a number of years. During her time with us, Una was involved in drop-in and BARK2Go sessions with university students and was a popular addition to our Building Confidence and Kindness through K9’s program with the Okanagan Boys and Girls Club. Her patience, sweet personality, and kind disposition will be remembered fondly by everyone who attended, or volunteered with, the B.A.R.K. program.
