The B.A.R.K. team is thrilled to have attended this years’ International Society for Anthrozoology virtual conference, hosted by Canisius College in Buffalo, NY!
Dr. Binfet, Freya Green, and Zakary Draper presented at the conference as part of a symposium titled: University-Based Animal-Assisted Interventions (AAIs): Theory and Research Toward Identifying Direct and Indirect Effects of Active Components on Stress-Related Outcomes.
Their presentation, The Importance of Touch in On-Campus Canine-Assisted Stress-Reduction Interventions, explored the effects of direct, physical contact with therapy dogs on the wellbeing outcomes of university students.
Congratulations Dr. Binfet, Freya Green, and Zakary Draper!
