The C-AAIS is designed primarily for professionals seeking to incorporate animal-assisted interventions into their scope of practice. This certification covers five areas of expertise: 1) Animal welfare and Well-being, 2) Zoonosis and Infection Prevention; 3) Animal Behavior Awareness, 4) AAI Foundations and 5) Professional Best Practices.
